About Us
Practitioner-Led Solutions for a More Resilient World
Based in Hampton Roads, Celtic Edge Consulting is an emergency management and resilience advisory firm built by practitioners. Our team brings decades of experience leading programs across government, public safety, healthcare, maritime, education, defense, and private industry. We have worked through real incidents, built the systems we now advise on, and seen where standard approaches fall short.
Celtic Edge was founded to raise the standard of emergency management, continuity, and hazard mitigation. Our work is grounded in operational reality and a clear understanding of mission requirements. We believe resilience is not achieved through templates alone. It requires clarity, precision, and informed leadership. Every engagement is tailored to the client’s structure, resources, and risk environment so that solutions are practical and immediately usable.
Our work includes enterprise continuity programs, FEMA-aligned hazard mitigation planning, exercises, crisis operations, and strategic advisory support. The focus is simple: help organizations make sound decisions under pressure and maintain operations when it matters most.
We support organizations with essential missions and high operational stakes. Our role is to provide the insight and partnership needed to build resilience that holds up over time.
When the stakes are high, experience matters. So does the partner you choose.
Our Mission
To strengthen the resilience of organizations responsible for essential services, public safety, and critical operations by delivering practical, operationally grounded emergency management and continuity solutions.
Led by Practitioners Who Have Lived the Mission
Celtic Edge Consulting is guided by leaders who have spent their careers operating inside the environments we now support. Our leadership team brings a rare combination of operational experience, strategic insight, and cross-sector expertise—earned through years of managing real incidents, driving organizational readiness, and advising mission-critical enterprises.
We are not career consultants. We are emergency managers, continuity professionals, and resilience practitioners who have built and led programs at the federal, state, local, military, and enterprise levels. That lived experience shapes every recommendation we make and every plan we deliver.
Celtic Edge leaders understand the pressure of making decisions when lives, assets, and operational continuity are on the line. We’ve worked inside hospitals, shipyards, ports, school systems, emergency operations centers, and government agencies—bringing firsthand insight into the complexity and constraints organizations face during disruption.
Our leadership philosophy is simple:
Provide clear guidance, deliver practical solutions, and be the partner clients trust before, during, and after the crisis.
At Celtic Edge, leadership isn’t a title—it’s a responsibility to elevate organizations, strengthen resilience, and ensure every client is prepared for whatever comes next.

Service Area
Celtic Edge Consulting supports clients across the United States, with the ability to engage on select international efforts where mission requirements demand it. We routinely work with organizations that operate across multiple states, regions, and operational environments.
While our reach is national, our primary focus is the Mid-Atlantic and Carolinas. Based in the Hampton Roads region, with an operational presence expanding into northeastern North Carolina, we understand the risk landscape, infrastructure, and operating conditions unique to this area. From coastal and maritime risk to regional infrastructure dependencies and growth corridors, our work is informed by direct familiarity with the environment our clients operate in.
We support a range of organizations, from local governments and regional healthcare systems to maritime enterprises and private industry with broader footprints. Whether the need is local, regional, or enterprise-wide, our approach remains consistent: deliver practical, experience-driven solutions that align with how organizations actually operate.
When required, we scale beyond the region. When it matters most, we operate with local understanding.
